Black History Month

2020 Black History on the Block Nominees

96.3 The Block is highlighting individuals who have impacted our African-American community with positive change in the Upstate area. Nominees are individuals that have used their volunteer efforts and community influence to make a significant, positive change for people in their community.

Each day in February, The Block will recognize one individual and highlight them on-air and online. Examples of their accomplishments could include donating their time to help tornado or hurricane victims, reading to underprivileged kids in schools, volunteering in a local soup kitchen, donating money to help relief projects, or collecting books to donate to donate to a local education fund.
