Black History Month 2020

96.3 The Block wants to highlight individuals who have impacted our African-American community with positive change in the Upstate area. Nominees should be individuals that have used their volunteer efforts and community influence to make a significant, positive change for people in their community.

Each day, 96.3 The Block will recognize one individual and highlight them on-air and online. Examples of their accomplishments could include donating their time to help tornado or hurricane victims, reading to underprivileged kids in schools, volunteering in a local soup kitchen, donating money to help relief projects, or collecting books to donate to a local education fund.

Who do you know someone that has a significant, positive impact in the urban community this past year? This is your opportunity to give them the credit they deserve. Nominate them below!
